I'd get rid of the HDD, and get a 250gb evo, then buy a HDD if you need it later on.

Add a monitor to it... and it's over-budget.

Are the benchmarks regarding the G2358 OC'D preforms better than the AMD FX-6300 OC'D?

It really matters. Cas 11 2133 or 2400mhz is fine, but 1600mhz cas 11? its bad.

Switched over. Any other suggestions?

Also, the reason that I didn't add a cooler is because of this article, www.digitalstormonline.com/unlocked/intel-pentium-g3258-review-and-overclocking-benchmarks-idnum298/ they got it to 4.6 GHZ and they load tested it for 30 minutes under linx and it stayed at 85C.

While i like seeing and reading benchmarks, i don't follow/use them everytime!

30 min. benchmark can't simulate the heat and dust build-up over time. And how many normal users do you know that use their computer for 30+ minutes, then change the CPU or other components! I, for one, almost never shut down my laptop, only put it on hibernate to cool it down, and before that, i use it for hours and hours! Also, you can't simulate dust build-up! So, go with and after-market fan, better safe than sorry

I suggest going with @TheNinjaNextDor's FX-6300 build, it's a great build for that amount of money

I've heard that some companies are planning to do a bios update to allow B85 and H87 motherboards overclockable is this worth the wait? How long would it take?
