I've seen a lot of posts about people getting really little overclocks from their MSI 270x video card, so I thought I would share some of my results.

So my card comes default at the following specs:

Core Clock: 1080MHz

Memory Clock: 1400MHz

Voltage: 0.950V

My card idles at 29-30C, and reaches about 50C now. With my old case, and fans, my card used to reach up to 76C, so that is possible if you guys try to use my overclock. My current case is a Fractal Design ARC Midi R2 (picture below), I have 4 chassis fans running, along with a liquid cooled CPU. I think some of the heat from my old case came from my CPU when it was not liquid cooled, so expect higher temps in your case w/o a liquid cooled CPU.

So after a bit of trying, I was able to reach the following results VERY stable, and VERY cool.

Core Clock: 1215MHz  (Got it up to 1230MHz, but I toned it down)

Memory Clock: 1400MHz  (can't seem to get it higher...)

Voltage: 0.950V (Stock)

Power Limit: 10%

Max. Temp: 50C

MSI Kombustor Results @ 1215MHz:

I got mine to 1240MHz and the memory up barely.  It sits a bit more modestly at 1140 on the reg though.
