What's the budget? You could probably do 4690k + 2x 780. Though aren't some new GPUs supposed to come out sometime soon?

For gaming the i5 and 780ti is better performancewise, however I think the 780ti isn't worth the extra money over a 780 and with everything but gaming the i7 will be tangibly better. I would go with the i7. As for which version, both asus and evga make excellent cards, pick the one that you prefer. The evga doesn't have a backplate, so bare that in mind.

Also, I have an Asus Z97 Maximus VII Hero. Should I get the ASUS GTX780 or the EVGA one which looks better IMO?

In your situation I would always pick the Asus card. Not because of performance, as they are both great cards, but purely because it matches your motherboard. :)

Well i ordered some parts already:

 

Corsair Graphite 760T White

Asus Z97 Maximus VII Hero

WD Black 1TB SATA III 64MB

HyperX 3K SSD 120GB

Corsair Hydro Series H100i

Corsair RM650W

HyperX Beast DDR3-1600Mhz 2x4GB

 

These went for about 900.00€, CPU and GPU left to order.

why did you buy the 3k ssd.....lol. They are overpriced slow and not as reliable as newer ones like Samsung's SSDs
