and i don't know how you calculate your SLI 50/50 = 99%

Two 780's at each 50% equals the performance of a single card at 99%. In crysis 3 the cpu was pushed to its limits.

the rain and water is only effects that are processed by the GPU man

The gpu doesn't know how to render them without the cpu telling it how to. Everything what you see on your screen is rendered by your gpu and everything to make this happen is done by the cpu.

you can see at exactly 2:28 you will see the GPU load hit as low as 35% and this is with a 3.4GHZ core i3...the GPU load hovers around 65% during the entire test..the core i7 at the end won't bottleneck the GTX 780 in watch dogs if you want to check that out:

You haven't used 4x msaa, that will crank the gpu load up. And how can the average fps be 15 when I'm not even seeing it dipping below 20 fps? It's like average around 25. 350% gain with HT enabled isn't realistic. I'm still seeing your i7 bottlenecking your 780 at 4:35 its between 77-87%.

i will not even argue with you cause deep inside i'm sure you know you're all wrong...i explained already the FPS where recorded in a previous run in watch dogs and you know a quick drop to 80% and then backup to 98% in watch dogs happens all the time and this is purely due to bad optimization of the game engine and not the CPU bottlenecking, if it was constantly under 90% like it is with all the other CPU configurations i tested then yes i would say yes it's bottlenecking, but clearly it's not.

About 50/50% doesnt equal 99%, 4x msaa puts more stress on the gpu than 1x fxaa or HT pumping a 350% gain?

You could say the same for the pentium/i3, it's not a bottleneck because the game is badly optimized. Due to bad optimizations you might get cpu bottlenecking, when we don't see any improvements we usually overgear our cpu to get rid of it.

I wasn't asking for a fight I just want to know more about the performance of the pentium

Let's calm down a little bit it's just a discussion.

Mentioning any company's name will cause this. Hell, if I mentioned Sara Lee bread, I bet someone's going to start a fight over bread. Yes, bread. I don't know why and I honestly don't care.

Anyway, as for the 20th anniversary Pentium? It's a great chip that has great single-threaded performance and the ability to overclock. Also, the price is great. The main "issue" would be that it's dual-core. The Athlon X4 750K and 760K are quad-core, but I don't know if they're powerful single-thread-wise. If they're not, then it's a debate over strong dual-core versus weak quad-core.

Eh, it looks like it's dying out a little, but it'll probably go insane when @Faa and @i_build_nanosuits comes back.  ;)

You could ask a mod to close this thread or lock it.
