Hello everyone,

I have recently built my desktop, chosen good parts, and i was happy in how it turned out and am very proud of it.

Now I've managed to get my dad to turn from team (stopped at home)laptop to team PC.

I want help picking specially the cpu, this is just a normal build, not for gaming nor for editing, just web surfing and stuff like that,

BUT the build is price related, not longevity related, I am trying to spend(in portugal) 270 us dolars(200 euros) in that one, doesnt need monitor, mouse, keyboard, just the case and the contents of it(also no O.S.).

Also I don't think a graphics card would be a wise investment, since no gaming is involved, maybe just on board graphics

My doubt is:

Should i get a different cpu(and mobo of course) or am I getting my money's worth on these parts?

My Idea is:

(I shop in this store:   http://www.alientech.pt/index.php

Power Supply: SeaSonic 400W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($45.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $265.87

thanks

yup, great selection. maybe get a single 4 GB stick for a possible future upgrade.

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)
