Cpu won't clock down itself in idle

Hey, I just overclocked my 2500k to 4GHz on my Msi z77a-g43, works fine except for one thing, it won't clock down in idle.

 

C-state is enabled, and  EIST (speedstep) is also enabled.

 

 

 

What can i do to make it clock down in idle?

I tried changing that now, and I still get the same results.

 

Something I just noticed was that when i run the cpu stock, it goes down to 1600 completely, but when i run it overclocked, the frequency is jumping like crazy all the time from 1600 directly up to 4000 mhz, still in idle.

 

This is not normal right?

Not really, dunno if its normal for sandy bridge thought.

 

Do you haven newest bios?
