Ok so this is my first time ever building a PC, I've been wanting to do this for a long time now and just now got the courage to attempt it after watching some of linus' videos. I am mainly looking for advice on if the build will do what i want it to do properly, and have a long life span with the adequate maintenance to the machine, plus upgrades in the future. I have already selected my parts and the things i want for it, like case, amount of ram, and other peripherals, all the parts can be found at this link here. I plan to run windows but haven't decided on 7 or 8 yet (any advice is welcomed for that as well). What I plan to do with this build is to enjoy games from minecraft to dayz to bf4 and other games of similarity, but i am also getting into graphic design and 3d modeling for school (aerospace engineering is what the modeling is for) as well as some video editing. I live in the US and would like to keep it under $2000 with peripherals not being a major deal, seeing as i have already bought two 24" monitors from LG (this is the monitor and it was discontinued that's why the link is from eBay only one i could find with the specs and other information) I do plan to run dual set up with them using either hdmi or dvi-d. I plan on getting a rat 9 from Roccat and a deathstalker ultimate/essential from Razer but i am open to suggestions for gaming peripherals. For audio i plan to use my current turtle beach X41s and some Logitech speakers that I have.

All advice and suggestions are welcomed,

~KandKadem

Thanks CoolBeans I wanted advice on the current layout that i have but thank you for the second opinion with an AMD system. I would still like advice on the current layout that I have, as it is of the things I want, such as an Intel processor and nvidia gpu.

Thanks for the reply with a different system then the one I have already listed above in the link but I would rather go with Intel and Nvidia rather than AMD for everything.

For the Mouse and Keyboard, it's up to you cause it usually depend on ppl preference, but I really advice against the wireless mouse unless you really need the wireless function for it, it's annoying when it ran out of battery and stuff (Also that mouse you choose is quite expensive). And keyboard maybe you like the thin key like that but have you tried the mechanical keyboard :P? The typing/gaming feel alot better IMO :P

Also I included a 750W PSU incase you ever going to do 2 ways SLI in the future. If you dont then you can switch to a 600W instead.

Thanks this helps a lot getting closer in price and adding things to it. The lay out you gave lets me compare and contrast the two and possibly modify my current one, thanks.
