What can even be stored on there? Weren't Floppy Discs only a couple of MB?

1.44MB or 2.88MB compressed

 

your word docs can be saved in the floppies

I have to use 5.4 Inch floppies...

Damn... That's one big floppy. Apparently, 8 in. floppies exist too.

But whyyyy flash memory is so inexpensive now 4GB is pretty cheap. It seems kind of silly to me.

op could have some old data in the floppies that he need them to be extracted

ah the good old days where I take apart a broken floppy and throw it like a flying disk

I used to accidentally break the spring in the top all the time lol. We had so many of them and they never had anything useful on them, mostly a few unimportant old files. I did play old DOS games though if I recall but my most easily recalled memories are of early CD's and Half-Life. Good ol' Half-Life.
