Hi guys!

 

I've got a huge favor to ask? ok first my problem!

 

I'm quadraplegic C5 since '92 meaning paralyzed from neck down i can use my arms but my fingers are completely paralyzed so here lies my problem...

 

I can use a mouse and and left click no problems (don't ask me how you just learn stuff you need done) but THE SCROLL WHEEL IS MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE

I need something to scroll with my other hand!!! I remember at my old job we had these Microsoft keyboard with a scroll wheel that was awesome...anyone knows of

anything i can use to scroll especially when coding in Brackets or Photoshop i lose time not using the scroll wheel.

The ergonomic keyboards and some media keyboards have scrollwheel as part of keyboard. Then there are roller-type mouse which have basicly wide bar acting as mouse. Third option would be getting touchmouse and configuring it to be just one big scrolling thing.

The ergonomic keyboards and some media keyboards have scrollwheel as part of keyboard. Then there are roller-type mouse which have basicly wide bar acting as mouse. Third option would be getting touchmouse and configuring it to be just one big scrolling thing.

 

If you have a gaming keyboard set a macro to a mouse function and choose scroll wheel

 

 

Thanks I just bought a Corsair K50 hoping it'll work (i'd cross my fingers but i cant) :P

Dang it  :angry:  there is no options for mouse macros on the K50

I have no Corsair experience but here is how to http://www.corsair.com/en-us/raptor-k50-gaming-keyboard click on downloads and download file quote me again after you have done that

 

Yup i installed all but in the assign key menu there is no option for mouse anything? and thanks for the help!

i feel sorry for you mate, makes me feel so fortunate,and try maybe moving the mouse wheel to see if it pops up as a selected key in the box

its basic commands it's copy paste select find print save keystroke

 

advanced command close window lock pc open explorer show desktop launch program

shoot i should have asked figured Corsair was a good bet  :(  its the same price as the k50 wonder if ncix would trade  :rolleyes:
