Best large range router

Hi everyone,

I just moved to a new house and it is a little bigger than the last one, and my room is now upstairs. Therefore my internet connection is poop.

I need a new, longer range router. My current router is the Lynksys E4200. My budget is about 200 dollars, but if someone can convince me that there would be a noticeable difference going to 250 I may consider it. I live in Canada so the pricing is in CAD.

Thanks and I hope you can help (currently getting 5mbps download upstairs and 35mbsp downstairs :'( ),

Gabe

The question is do you want wireless AC?

If not, the best Wireless N router is the RT-N66U

http://www.asus.com/au/Networking/RTN66U/ which is only $149.99.

How would that RT-N66U compare with a WNDR4500 (Netgear N900 iirc) -- any idea/guesses?
