4670k or 4770k?

i am planning to upgrade my CPU and motherboard

 

personally i prefer Intel because i have had a few problem with my AMD processor earlier

but i am confused between these two models

i5-4670k or i7-4770k?

 

except for the hyper threading feature I don't see any difference in them

but the price difference in India is around $100 (converting from Rupees)

 

also the motherboard that i am going to buy is "MSI B85-G41 PC Mate" just because i want to buy a ATX motherboard and that is my cheapest option

 

is it worth spending the $100?

since there are more and more software's and games that will support hyper threading in the future

Go for a 4690K on a Z97 board.

you need to pair it with a Z87 or Z97 mobo for OC

 

B85 is more for non-K series CPUs

Yes , k is only meant for overclocking .

Look for 4670, 4570 and 4590.
