Two Monitors or Ultrawide?

Im a gamer and sometimes but rarely, a movie watcher on my pc mostly gamer and i love the idea of extra wide view of my games. now i dont really have a budget as i doubt ill buy one for a long time due to prices but which one makes more sense as of now, 3 monitors or one of these ultra wides? are the ultrawides gaming quality when it comes to response times or are they super expensive for all that or are they cheaper then 3 high quality monitors put together?

3 Monitor setup is better imo ultra-wide for me personally is not worth it, you should get whatever you like better.

hate bezels but dont want to lose performance for that little detail

The ultra wide monitors (21:9) aren't too much if they're 1080 pixels high, but if you go for something like the one Linus really like, they're a lot more. 

 

I'd personally go for the 3 1080p monitors, as I find that being able to have a video or something full screen while you do something else is very useful.

Ultra Wide > Triple Monitor for gaming.

 

With the triple monitor setup, even if you don't mind the bezel problem, you aren't going to see universal support for 3 screens on some of the titles that you will want to play.  If you aren't using the 3 monitors for anything else, it's not worth it.
