Random crashes lately

So lately, for reasons unknown, my computer has been popping up a .NET framework message that only seems to happen when I'm not right there at the monitor to see it. My father used my computer and said that's what the box said before it shut off. I have seen it myself, but only briefly as I reentered my room or from my bed as someone else was using it. I'm not sure what exactly the message reads, but I know I'm running .NET version 4.5.1 and I'm on windows 8.1 so there is not going back past 4.5. I have also noticed it doesn't seem to do it after I power the system back up, only the first time its turned on after an extended period of downtime (8 or so hours in my case).
