Anybody else thinks this will happen next year, adding all of the 2012 E3 options back and charging people £50 for the privilege? 

I've avoided EA and Ubisoft for a few years and so far I'm pretty glad I have. Shame I won't be able to play Rainbow Six but the added benefit of not being fed nonsense makes up for it.

The only thing that should be talked about in regards to Ubisoft is how we are going to force them to change their in game menu for pc and unlock everything.  Ubisoft's actions in regards to Watch Dogs are the most disgusting I have seen in the pc gaming market in awhile.

Post on their Facebook each day.  Post on Twitter about them each day.  Email them telling them what they did is disgusting.

And they know that too. The best thing they can do is make a patch to fix those original settings and allow them to be enabled in game.

Ubisoft doesn't like "mods", according to their statement about the game.

 

The features should have been turned on in the game to begin with anyways.

Yeah the unofficial patch is there which makes Ubisoft look like they have egg on their face. I think the plan was to nerf the game now and next year charge people to use the settings using the whole we have new stuff now to make it work/power of the cloud nonsense. I expected this from EA but not Ubisoft, they were one of the only big companies that didn't do shitty things to my knowledge.

Their latest patch made it harder to get it done.  Also your comment is idiotic.  Do you not realize if people don't give Ubisoft crap next time they will make sure they don't leave anything in their game that unlocks better graphics if found and we will just get an ugly console version like pc game or no game at all?

People give EA crap all of the time but they still release Battlefield Hardline before fixing Battlefield 4.

Woah woah there, no need to get feisty. Usbisoft should be smart enough of a company to release something that looks good on PC, and what ever they feel like on console. And just because it's harder to mod now, doesn't mean it can't be done. I'm 100% sure, there are modders smarter than everyone on their coding team. I also can give no fucks if ubisoft releases another game for PC, If they can't make a game that works and looks good like they said it would, why should they release the game in the first place.

Feisty?  I was just stating I thought your comment was idiotic.  If people don't complain then the odds of things getting changed for the better or not so good.  Simple as that.  Also Ubisoft released the files right in the game and it is a slap in our face that they were not being used.  They were willing to sell people a crappier game.

People have a right to complain and then them throwing it in our face by including the files in the game still is disgusting.  Like some others have hinted here and elsewhere it seems maybe Ubisoft wanted to release a super HD version or a remastered version and screwed up leaving the files in.  Ubisoft is greasy and people need to keep this in the open for a good long while.  Ubisoft needs to hurt for their bs over the last year.  Also if you are saying Ubisoft knowingly did what they did why wouldn't people continue to complain and make sure people remember the scum that Ubisoft is?

Calm your s**t guys, the only answer is for people to stop pre-ordering games, wait for the reviews and vote with your wallet. Companies have no obligation to act nice or responsible if people keep giving them money before there's a finished product.
