I did, but I don't see how the picture shows it is the online tutorial...sorry, it was not mentioned it was online before this post. My bad. :)

 

it isn't an update related problem, a save related problem or a disk related problem I think it spells bad news for your friend's PS3. I only had this problem when my hard drive needed replacing. As soon as I did that, I no longer got freezes in Skyrim, Uncharted and GTA IV. I think you, or your friend, should consider replacing it.

Do you mean it stops every time you get to that spot or is it currently frozen and you want a solution for it? If the former, it is either the disk or your friends PS3. Check the disk for damages and...if you can...try another PS3? If the later, try resetting it. If it is frozen, from my very own experience, it will hardly ever unfreeze since it is most likely a hard freeze.

Gta v stops when i played it on my friends ps3 on the tutorial when you in a driveway.

Can anyone help that has had thw same problem.

What should i do?

If it doesn't glitch in your PS3, it is either his playstation or a corruption in the save file you are using--unless, of course, you are moving your own save file over.  Does your friend's PS3 make loud noises? See if you can hear his hardrive or something rattling/clicking etc etc. But first, try a new save file.

 

Buy a PC.

I did that we did a new psn account and did new save file

Also doesnt make noise

When it stops in that spot the characters head are moving

The weather and day time changed when it stopped

Hm, very strange!  Are you online, connected I mean, when you play? Try disconnecting and then trying the game save. If not, see if there is  a PS3 update available for your friend's PS3. The update, apparently, fixes the freezing with GTA V.
