Got my 270 yesterday and I have the latest drivers, is there anything I need to do to activate mantle? I haven't been following it at all so I really don't know much about it

I believe it is done from in game, I know with BF4 it is in the in game options menu under 'Graphics API'.

If the game supports it then all you need to do is change the API from DirectX to Mantle. That's it.

its done from in game settings screen 

switch the directx option to mantle
