Okay so at christmas I got an EVGA 650W 80+G Psu. Which I now realise was a mistake.

I was looking at a new psu so that i can have some upgrading headroom.

I am looking to spend around £120 on a 1000+- wattage PSU

If people could find me some decent psus with that wattage and price tag (all 80+ Bronze atleast) I would be extremely thankful.

Also I was wondering if this psu was any good for the money http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aerocool-1150W-80-Gold-Single-Rail-14cm-White-Modular-Gaming-PSU-/111351307248?pt=UK_Computing_PowerSupplies_EH&hash=item19ed0e1bf0

Why do you need 1000+ Watts?

Upgrades in the future (Yeah I know I will NEVER use 1000w+ but hey, it's nice to have the option

Could you specify what you are planning on?

A 650W PSU is still good for a high-end setup, what are you using ATM and what are you getting.

Also, as new components come they TDP will most likely drop, unless you are going dual GPU you should be fine.

EDIT: even the titan has only a 250W TDP.

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

Atm im using an AMD 8320 @4.9GHz, a GTX 660 (everything else is in my signature) But really It's not that im upgrading any time soon. it's just so I dont have to worry about running out of power. Also because I accidentally threw all my modular cables for this psu in the bin when I was cleaning the house

(Edit: The main reason i'm looking for a new psu is as i said I have no more modular cables so there is literally no way I can upgrade anyway, plus future upgrades)

(Edit #2: I've found 1x 3 sata power cables, 1x4 molex and 1x 6+8Pin GPU power with addition to my current 6pin GPU power)

So with a 6+8 pin and a 6pin PCI-E cable, what is the highest end GPU I can run off of a 650w psu?

You don't need to worry, really. Your PSU is really good, why picking it was a mistake?

Honestly because I bought it in a hurry and didn't think about upgradability

I don't know exactly what a 8320 @4.9 would draw, but i could guess that with the V increases it would go to 140W ABSOLUTE max, and the GPU takes 140 to 150W, so you still have room.

A GTX titan, you could use a molex to 6pin if it needs 2x 6 pins. (can't remember if it was 2x 6 + 1x 6+2, or just 6 and a 6+2)

I assume you meant one 6+2pin PCI-E and one 6pin? Then Radeon 290X... but you should have more of these.

You did a really great choice ;) Taking this poopy Aerocool would be a mistake.

You could ask EVGA to send you new ones. It depends on the connectors, but your PSU should handle Radeon 295X2 or a SLI of mid-end cards like GTX660.

Those cable are cheap, much cheaper than a new PSU, you could just get a good cable set, that would set you back about 15$
