Hey guys i have owned a Fractal Design Define R4 windowed version for a couple of months now and i never had a problem. But yesterday when i decide it to open the side panel while i was using it, i discovered that the inside of the case was terrifying HOT. Now i do live in south Texas and outside in the summer it's around 97F but inside my house controlled to 70F, which is cold for most of my friends since they are used to the hot weather. But after i found out how hot it was i decide it to upgrade/add more fans. The fractal case comes with 2 - 140mm fans one as intake and a rear one as a exhaust, the fans that are included are fairly quite i don't know if the perform good but i wanted to ask you guys what can i add to improve the temperature inside my case how many fans should i add ? what fans ? What layout ? and more. Like always thanks for anyone who helps and if you need any more information feel free to ask.

NOTE: i don't use HDD only SSD i decide it to add this since i heard that HDD produce a ton of heat.

If all you use are the included fans that case is going to be a death trap. Ideally you would have to top blocked off with the moduvents and fronts, bottom intake, and rear exhaust occupied.

it was and i didn't remove the moduvents because i love quite systems

i think you mean 97f not 97c as at 50c you would not survive that heat. the HDD dont give off that much heat as most people think. and to answer your question about the fans i would try to set fans in all possible locations for example. put 2 fan on the roof and also put one in the bottom to get more air circulating around the case

yes 97c south texas FTW lol.......now GPU 40c under load and CPU AMD FX 8350 its 65c while rendering video at 95% usage

You might want to improve your CPU cooling, 65 C is almost critical for AMD. On the other hand 40C on GPU is really good.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

97f is only 34c which is normal australian weather and i know how warm things get. you need to add more air circulation in the case and also the room that the computer is in as well to help cool the system

i have a hyper 212 evo and im running the AMD fc 8350 at stock i thought that was more then enough

are you using the stock fans on the 212 as i know its a beast of a cooler it shouldnt be that warm also check the orientation of the fans for the fan on that make sure they are pointing towards the exhaust so it helps
