I currently am running a WiFi card in my system, and I am going to be upgrading to a Z97 Micro ATX motherboard. All the WiFi card is is a mini PCI Express WiFi card attached to an adapter. My question is, is there any way for me to plug the mini PCI Express card into the M.2 slot (with an adapter if necessary)? I want to do this because this is the only way that I could still use the WiFi card if I decided to SLI or Crossfire. I already have an idea as to how to run the antenna from the inside of the case. Just for reference, here are links to the motherboard and WiFi card:

I don't know... They have different connectors, and they run differently.  M-PCIe uses M-phy, and M.2 uses PCIe phy. My guess is it wouldn't communicate properly. I know you can get M-PCIe to M.2, but I don't know about the other way around...
