Depending on what you do with your PC.

If you are gaming, at 1080p, and are currently comfortable with keep on doing so, then I don't believe it's worth the jump.

Gaming Perfomance will only be affected by 1-10 fps, depending on the game, but most of the times the difference is not visible.

Rendering will be very much improved, around 30-40% better. And on some light workloads, the TurboBoost present on the newer CPUs can speed things up over %50

Z87 and z97 motherboards have plenty of features compared to the older platform, maybe better sound, expandability, SATA and USB ports, a nice UEFI and simple stuff like fan control profiles are reason enough to drive you to an Upgrade.
