A buddy of mine recently picked up the new Asus PB287Q UHD monitor. Immediately upon getting it set up the input lag was obvious. It was so bad that it was easy to miss buttons with the mouse. Display Port 1.2 had been enabled and the display was running at 60Hz attached to an EVGA GTX 780Ti SC. Below is a link to a video comparing the input lag to his Dell E2311H 1920x1080 display also running at 60Hz over DVI. The input lag was also visible in the following configurations: 30Hz at 3840 x 2160 (HDMI) on 2013 Macbook Pro Retina and 60Hz at 1920 x 1080 (HDMI) on 2013 Macbook Pro Retina. So the lag was not specific to the DP port (We also tried a different DP cable) and was visible across multiple resolutions and refresh rates. It appears the panel itself has issues.

Newegg took the monitor back and will be sending a new one out. Unless someone can think of something completely stupid that we missed this post is just a warning of this problem. Given Linus' review of the display and his focus on low total display lag I feel this display should perform much better. Thanks for reading.
