HDD advice

So I am looking to upgrade the hdd I use for my pc games. Currently I am about to max out my 1tb hdd and I want to go to a 2 or 3 tb drive. Are there any preferred drives out there or are they all about the same?

Just get a 7200RPM with a decent Caching from Seagate, Hitashi, Sams, ...you know, the big HDD Brands

Why would it matter if your using raid or not? It's a great drive.

I would say go for the Seagate Barracuda, just because the performance difference is quite large, and if you won't be using them in RAID, and don't need low power, the Reds are a waste.
