Office Computers for Allscripts

Go to solution Solved by ericlee30,

medical software? Nah,i3's could easily do that task just fine. Now as for rendering/modeling, and video editing, yeah you would benefit from the an i7 over an i5 for those tasks.

My father's pc guy quoted him $10,000 for 6 front desk office pcs (ridiculous I know) with $500 shipping and ~$600 (we live in the Caribbean). The pc were ordered from Florida from Dell. To avoid being scammed because the IT guy gets a cut of the purchase, I would like of order the pcs myself and not through him. To stay on topic, I must prove to my dad that core i7 3770s are not needed for allscripts medical management software. I would only get an i5+ for gaming, rendering/modeling, and video editing. I'm sorry for the rant and going off topic. I just need to know what CPU is nescessary for simple medical software. Thanks everybody.
