4670k or 4770k?

Go to solution Solved by JoshM,

Normally I would say go an i5 but to be honest I would get the 4770k and a lower end board, upgrading the board later on for better OCing is cheaper then buying a new cpu...

What will you be doing with your PC? If only gaming then go with the 4670k.

Hello,

I have enough money to get a 4670k and high end board such as a z97-ud4h or a 4770k and a low-end moetherboard like this Z87-HD3, which do you think I should get?

It really depends what features you need and what you will be doing with the CPU.

Most games an i5 will be fine.

What is the system being used for is the important question.
