So I have a AOC U2868PQU (http://www.aocmonitorap.com/root/hk_en/product_display.php?id=556) coming.(BTW the purpose of buying is for photo and productivity and future proofing not gaming atm, maybe when another few generations of gpus have gone by)

I was thinking of doing some fun stuff with it's mega resolution. As it has a DVI input that can do 2160p at 30hz(its a 60hz panel) I was thinking of connecting it up to a GTX 295 and finding out how far graphics tech has come in the past few years.

Anyone else got ideas for stuff I could do, doesn't need to be about games! (will post results if you want).

I was also thinking about running some old FPS like Wolf:ET at 2160p and see how the game engine copes!

Also there are few reviews on this monitor so feel free to ask about it as in my opinion it is a lot better value than the asus, also it has more IO and better design just not as stylish.

Out of curiosity, did you by chance mean the R9 295x2?

No the GTX 295(old nvidia) to show the difference between 2009 gpu and 2013 gpu(my r9 290)

I was thinking of doing some old games COD 4 is a must as it will run 60fps no problem I may also have a rumage for some other games,

Also thought I might connect it up to a win 98 machine and see how small the taskbar and windows are!
