Protip coming from a New Zealander. Buy stuff from Amazon. Even with shipping it's cheaper. >$200 for an H100i or comparable cooler is ridiculous. Every now and then Amazon has this AmazonGlobal Saver free shipping thing.

Saviour's build is better than yours IMO, but you could still get most of that cheaper on Amazon. Just watch out for taxes when bringing too much stuff in, or when it's worth too much.

Z97 motherboard, 4790k, cheaper RAM, 1 SSD, better CPU Air Cooler, better PSU than RM Series...

I think you can get the SSD cheaper on Amazon, maybe the RAM, PSU and OS cheaper there as well. Only reason I didn't get everything was Amazon didn't ship motherboards and CPUs to NZ, and case shipping is extortionate.

The RM Series is overpriced considering the crappy capacitors. Your personal experience doesn't mean anything. Data does.

what do you mean by crappy capacitors? sure its not the Japanese stuff you see in the rest of the psus out there on the market but their optimized for silence and can handle big loads easily

Chinese Capxon and Ltec capacitors. Crap. Known to fail in a few years.

It can handle big loads easily? You mean it can deliver its rated Wattage? Like every other decent power supply out there?

And it's marketed as silence optimized. There are many other "silence optimized" power supplies out there, with semi-fanless modes and quiet fans. The EVGA Supernova G2 for example, and they don't market them as "silence 'optimized". And they're better quality power supplies that are generally cheaper than the RM Series.
