Hello. Can anyone recommend a good Thunderbolt dual port Gigabit NIC? I'm trying to keep my case free of PCI cards if possible. I dont want to go down the route of getting a Thunderbolt enclosure because that will be stupid money.

The only ones I have seen are the single port Apple ones. Anyone know if they're any good?

Cheers,

Chris.

Not sure one exists other than getting a network card in an enclosure

Why do you need dual NIC?

Thunderbolt to Ethernet (turns a Thunderbolt port into an Ethernet port).

Dual is for LAG.

Do the Apple ones behave in Windows? Do they show up as a PCI device or something? I have a GA-Z77X-UP5 TH mobo.

EDIT: I just noticed that LAG is only in the server version of Windows. Does this mean I'd need a NIC that has the option built into the driver?
