new build 1360$ gaming

hi. so I plan to build a pc in about 2 months. (I ill be working and getting my money during summer)
iv been planning it for awhile. watched some of linus' good videos and how-to. this is the rig I have set up (without the monitors/mouse/keyboard I alredy own.) http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/LnnGnQ  add to that an alredy working NAS with 1tb for storage (about 250-300 for backups)
consider the canadian pricing please. and tell me what you think: good value? could I get something better for the price keeping in mind this is a gaming pc?
thanks a lot :D

with that Z97 you should be aiming for the K series CPU

650W is a bit over the top

550W will do the trick

If you're getting a Z97 board and an aftermarket CPU cooler, you might as well get a 4690K as opposed to the 4690 (non-K). The K denotes an unlocked multiplier, which means you'll be able to overclock it (which is also one of the main advantages of the Z97 chipset).

Other than that, it looks good. The RAM price seems a few bucks higher than it should be, but that could just be the difference between US and Canadian pricing.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

You wont get much different from GD65 over the G45, So I'd rather get the G45 Mobo, change the CPU to i5 4690k, you dont really need a full modular PSU, so go with a semi instead, it will be much cheaper. Case is subjective so choose whatever one you like, in my suggestion build I just take a random cheap one.

ok guys thanks. for the 650w psu.I will check that but I plan on maybe adding a 2nd graphics card later and. mostly for potential futur builds). for the 4690k I guess i ill have to wait a bit for it to come out (will probably happen befor I actually buy the whole thing) for the cpu cooler. eh, it was mostly for the looks rather that the actual performance since I was not going to overclock really. im gona think about it!
thanks a lot :D

well if you are planning to SLi

you will need way more wattage

go for at least 800 watts
