H100i Back Plate

Go to solution Solved by Chris_nz,

I Had this issue, I noticed when I fixed the water block on it goes away, I watched Linus's video about the H100i mounting, i didnt put any washers or anything to make it tighter

There should be little to no play; mine is totally rigid. Take it off and put it back on to see if you get different results.

Close your eyes for what you can't imagine.

Some people have had issues with the H100i being loose even when the screws are fully tightened. You can fix this by putting some small plastic washers between the backplate and the motherboard. Don't use metal washers though, you could short something.

I installed a h100i on a customers computer once and it was awfully loose. Had to take a rubber washer and put them on the back plate to make it snug.
