Hello all,

So, I remember recently watching a Linus tech tips video on youtube where a piece of equipment was used that I am trying to identify so that I can purchase one for myself.  Please be aware that this description comes based entirely off of memory from a video I was listening to in the background while working, so forgive me if it is lacking.  I can't remember if it was this video or this video, but the device that I am interested in is a dongle of sorts that allows you to spoof the identity of a piece of networking equipment so that another device on the network will appear as the spoofed device to all other devices.  If memory serves, the use case for something like this is if you have your own modem you want to use, but your ISP only supports the kind they provide to you.  This dongle would allow you to use your own modem by allowing your modem to impersonate the ISP's modem.  Is this ringing any bells for anybody?  Any guidance would be appreciated.
