Hi guys.

I bought this horizontal GPU holder for any of my graphics card.

Now I can not use any vertical GPU holder since I have huge PC chasis (TT View 91 TG RGB) and there is at least 30 cm from the bottom of the chasis to the graphics card (I can measure precisely how much is it).

But I watched the video from link below and guy is mentioning that this thing is completely useless.

So do you agree or not, or should I give it a chance and install it?

The graphics card is Asus ROG Strix RTX 3070.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Sag really comes down to how solidly the weight of the GPU cooler has been distributed to the IO bracket.

I would suspect this adapter might not work so well, as its not a very big piece of metal nor is it connected in enough places to hold the card firmly in place.  I doubt its entirely useless though, it must take some of the weight off.

ASUS cards in my experience are usually pretty solid, I've not had one sag.  The only time I would be concerned WITHOUT an anti-sag bracket is if you move your PC around a lot, but even with a bracket its recommended to remove a heavy GPU before taking your PC in a moving vehicle.

Oh okay.

Regarding that, how can I check if this specific model sags and how much?

WOW that's some snakeoil. Love the materials being "Iron + PC"
That looks like it won't do anything to support a GPU. Also, that GPU isn't really that heavy, it shouldn't be sagging at all.
And if you need a support, you can literally just slap anything stable in there. I use a stack of pennies with duct tape wrapped around them as my GPU support

Posted (edited)

ya they are useless as the arnt beefey enough or contact the case to hold the gpu up. there for looks really.

just get a gpu stand or make one. there is one that attaches to the mb screws to make it more stream line... (there a knockoff one on alelyexspress for cheaper)

there some that attach to a fan too. come in all sises too.

you can stick something in the crack on the back to help brace the pci bracket like a zip tiy too

Easy fix, go to your local hardware store or hobby shop and see if they have any small diameter plastic rod or plastic squares and build it yourself. Cost should be well under $5.00, honestly the glue will probably be the largest expense. WarningDON'T use super glue as it has little in the way of sheer strength and won't last long.
