Hey guys my cpu temps seems off when im at like 25precent usage - 30  im at like at 65c and im using an 360mm aio which was said beeing an overkill for this cpu whats wrong with the temps ? my rare exacust fan is 120m and im pretty sure i can fit 140mm one maybe that will make the diffrence or swaping the front fans to better onces ? all those fans are the stock case fans , my pump is runin at max 2824

all the parts expect the gpu are like 6 months old

  • Case: NZXT H7 Flow RGB (2023)

That sounds about right for a 7800X3D. AM5 run warm and 65c at 25-30% load is absolutely expected.

I see nothing wrong here at all.

My 7700x did the same and my 9800X3D sits at 60c at 12% load at the moment.

maybe anyway to make it better i mean saw a guy runing it with an air cooler at 80% 66C surely my aio can get better temps

Show me that video, he might have been running with the fans on the air cooler at 100% speed with a CO ( Curve Optimizer undervolt )

There's no maybe, its just how it is. AM5 spikes in temps all the time.

If you gaming temperatures are good I see no reason to worry, you can try to increase the pump speed on the AIO.
But 60-80c on a 7800X3D is perfectly normal during gaming, even with a 360mm AIO.

I heared Antarctica was sub-optimal cooler for high-end AM5 processors.

They simply run that warm and it's absolutely fine, even if it was constant 80C temps it's still about 15C away from max temps the CPU allows.

And even then some AM5 CPUs on 100% all-core load can reach 95C and stay there without any problems, they were designed for speed so they hover on higher thermals when put to work.

7800x3d runs at 55-65c at almost any load. It's not linear

Without seeing package power along side temperature, not a whole lot can be suggested. Usage doesn't matter much, but power does.

Either way if you're concerned you want to be running a max load test and taking note of peak package power and temp.

No sense in worrying about what temp is doing beneath max load.

It is.   But don't expect miracles.  It helps a little tho, yes.
