PC ram caching so much?

for some reason my ram caches a lot even when am not doing much except watching youtube or twitch! How do I identify the cause of this problem?

This is not a problem, i believe its called superfetch. You can disable it if you want.

It's not a problem.  It's just saying it has the RAM ready to be used if you need it, it's not actually setting it aside and making it off limits.

 

Don't read into things.  Not every number needs to have a deep drive into.

It's not a problem, quite the opposite. RAM is there to be used; unused RAM is wasted RAM.

 

It means Windows has preloaded stuff you use often into memory. When the data is needed, it is ready to go, avoiding the need to load it from disk. And if more memory is needed for running programs, Windows will simply drop what it has cached and make the memory available.

Windows likes to cache things when it can. But it will happily burn it all to the ground if any app needs RAM
