Need help installing programs

Hi, ever since I got a new version of windows, anytime I download a program from the internet, it downloads a .msi file, which whenever I click on, reports an error, please help me with this.

 

Which browser are you using? Have you tried another?

Does this only happen when you try to download a .exe file? Or does it happen when you try to download anything?
