I have no idea if i should buy an APU (wait for next line if there is) or buy the intel counterpart(wait for haswell)

im thinking of making a mid rage computer but use on-board graphics for a year or two what do you suggest

*i didnt see anything like this on the forums tell me where it is if there is one

Even with Haswell, I think I saw somewhere the top AMD APUs outperform Haswell in terms of integrated graphics.

Desktop: Intel Core i7-5820K, Corsair H115i, Asus X99-Deluxe/USB 3.1, G.Skill Ripjaws4 32GB 2800MHz CL16, Zotac RTX 3070, Samsung 950 Pro 512GB in Angelbird Wings PX1, Samsung 850 EVO 1TB, 5*Seagate 12TB, Cooler Master V1200, Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, Windows 10 Pro. Phillips 328P6VUBREB, Corsair Vengeance K95 RGB Cherry MX Brown, Logitech G502 X Plus, Sennheiser HD700.

AYANEO 2S: AMD 7800U, 32GB 7500MHz, 2TB WD SN850X. Windows 11.

You'd really have to wait for the new chips to be tested, but most likely things will be as usual - the APUs will kick Intel's butt, graphics-wise.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

Even if haswell doesn't perform as well as the amd apus on the graphics front, you might still want to go with a haswell chip depending on how much actual cpu performance you want. It'd be a bit of a waste if you got an apu which ended up bottlenecking whichever gpu you got down the line.
