Cs2 frame generation time issues.

I assume you mean frame times, not frame gen times. Most people would associate frame gen with DLSS FG or FSR FG. Or are you actually using frame gen?

Give Intel PresentMon a try and look at GPU Busy and CPU Busy. Given the low resolution and high frame rate, I suspect you're CPU limited. If you want a more consistent frame rate (and thus frame time) you'll likely need to limit your frame rate.

Also check gpu clocks. Was common in csgo but if the gpu had too low a load due to how easy the game was to run it would go into power saving mode and lower clocks affecting frametimes and framerates a bunch

Hello, My cs frame time is insane. It ranges to 29ms - 8ms no matter what i do, even if i stand still. This of course makes the game unplayable (examples below)

I have tried contacting steam support but they was pretty useless in this issue.

Does anyone have any fixes?

my pc specs are:

5800X

H100 AIO

9070XT

32GB

Samsung 980 1TB

B550

850W PSU

and i play at: 4:3 1280X1024.

Originally i noticed it and thought it was a 1% low issue because it felt choppy until i saw the frame gen times.

This happens on workshop and normal servers.

I also had 0 issues on the current settings i have until a few days ago

Aside from what others said, yeah make sure to set fps more to what it can usually be stable. Not sure about latest updates, games and OS these days are not coded the best...
