Does the g502 have these problems?

Go to solution Solved by jmaster299,

No, the feet don't peel off and any who claims as much is absuing their mouse in some horrible way that I don't want to think about. As far as the sniper button "getting in the way", there was a single insane person who made a thread here complaining about that. But he uses some super palm grip with all fingers 100% extended at all times that practically no one else on Earth uses. I don't have official numbers, but the majority of people keep their thumb slightly bent when using their mouse. Anyone who does will never have an issue with the sniper button "getting in the way".

Ewww peeling feet.

I don't remember exactly if it was the g502, but I read the sensor was a bit off in precision. I'm almost sure it was the g520 but my memory is poor.

Incorrect, the G502 has the most accurate sensor on the market.

Planning on getting the g502 from logitech. I was about to buy it, but I read that it has some noticeable cons.

I heard that the g502 has problems with it's rubber feet. People are saying that after weeks, days, or even hours, the feet start the peel off. Also, they say that the sniper button gets in the way. Is it really annoying or I can turn it off and I should be fine?

My feet on mine are fine and I have had mine for a month. They look brand new. I like the placement of the sniper button and it doesn't get in the way at all. I find it very useful in CS and other FPS games. A mousepad of some sort will definitely help if you are really worried about the feet coming off.

I should be studying.

Don't think it would have been the G502, it's sensor is damn near perfect.

To the OP, my feet haven't peeled in the couple of weeks I've had the mouse, and the sniper button can be turned off, or remapped to whatever you wish, it's also positioned in such a way that it only touches the very tip of your thumb (depending on your hand size). I don't find it's positioning to be obnoxious at all, and for the record my hands are the same size as Linus' (I can wear medium motorbike gloves comfortably).
