I am in a very confused state on which windows version to go with. I want the best gaming experience my hardware can provide i play games and use discord most of the time and use browser i do college work as well as use LTSpice and Adobe software sometimes and use vscode and basically everything but i cant sacrifice somethings to get the best gaming experience.

SPECS:
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x

GPU: RTX 3060 12 GB
RAM: 16 gigs of 3200 mhz
Storage: SSD and hdd i have plenty

please help me choose between windows version like win10, win11, ltsc, ltsc iot and other options and how to optimize them

LTSC is something you should only use if you understand exactly what it is.

I do know what ltsc is generally its used in commercial and sensitive applications where they need the same build without unwanted updates and only has security updates for stability but it is stripped af so is it a good choice

I've once seen a comparison on a YT channel between Win 8.1, 10 and 11 and the guy proved that somehow Win 8.1 had the best performance running a series of different tasks. I think he got the best gaming performance on 8.1. Win11 was the worst and Win10 was somewhere in the middle.

 

So I suppose Win10 IoT LTSC would be an acceptable compromise especially since you have an older CPU. It still gets security updates, I use it too. But that's all you get.
