i’m at a COMPLETE loss, this freaking motherboard just will not function. i got a new case, the Hyte Y70 (really nice case), and i put everything in, and its works completely fine the first time i turn it on, no issues at all. the next day, i go to turn my pc on, the fans spin for maybe 5 seconds then it all turns off. i have a corsair lcd screen that mounts onto the aio pump cpu cooler, and it showed the triangle hazard symbol, indicating a general fault. thinking maybe it needed new thermal paste, i went and applied some, now it would post and boot to the login screen, but it would load extremely slow and would shut off after maybe 30 seconds. i tried updating the bios as well, i have an nzxt b550, i got into the bios screen and started the update, but it shut off mid update so this is probably what caused the next big issue. i got a new cpu cooler, a cooler master hyper 212, and mounted it onto the cpu. now it doesn’t shut off within 30 seconds, but it WILL NOT post, the vga light on the mobo stays lit like its taunting me but its just my frustration talking. i’ve tried everything i can think of, different pcie slots, plugging in the gpu directly into the mobo and not with the built in vertical riser that came with the new case, removing ssd cards, removing two ram sticks (i have 4), different gpu’s, clearing the cmos battery, on board graphics don’t work with my amd ryzen 9 5900x, i even tried bios flashback but even that didn’t work but i might’ve done it wrong. i cant get anything to display, and i know my monitors are plugged in, turned on, and connected to the gpu, but nothing works. i apologize for the very very long paragraph but im honestly desperate to get my pc back on, if anyone has the miracle solution to this absurd problem, i will treat you to a fancy steak dinner and a night at disney land.

You motherboard is likely toast if it died while updating the bios.

Reseat your CPU and try without your CPU cooler installed. It’s fine for a minute or so to test.
