HDD Help Needed

So yesterday I made a post (in a different section of these forums) about not being able to boot windows after my upgrade to my new intel system. Its up and running now just fine but the only problem is I cant use anything on my hard drive. I have my old WD hard drive from my old build that has steam and all my games and such on it. Its plugged in and i see all the stuff it but when i go to the control panel and go to where you uninstall programs there's nothing there but the programs that come with the drivers for my motherboard and GPU. How do i get my HDD usable and have my screen cluttered back up with all my game icons?
