constant frame drops on specific games.

I have a amd ryzen 5 7600x3d, rtx 5070, 32 gb of RAM, and a 270hz monitor. I've been playing games like GOW Ragnarok, Elden Ring, and CS2 on high display settings with no problem. But whenever I try playing Fortnite or Apex Legends, the fps drops just make the game unplayable. Even capping fps at 144 and lowering the display settings to the lowest possible, it still spikes from 144 to around 30. Someone smarter than me please let me know what I have to do to fix this

It is on, but even with it off, nothing changes.
