Does it come with drives or no?

At $550 USD/$750CAD... it's not terrible, but you can probably shop around for a while to get better.  But as you say... you want a machine now, so it ends up being a decent value for your needs.

I’d say it’s barely worth your $750. But with the 4060 in hand this might make an OK gaming rig. 32gb ram is solid too

But all in all the deal is alright, can’t argue too much especially with ramaggedon right now

MY PC: Ryzen 9 3900x | Asus Dual RTX 4070 OC | 128GB Kingston Fury DDR4-3600 Ram | 512GB 5000 mb/s TeamGroup M.2 NVME | 2TB + 1TB HDD (Western Digital | Thermalright Frozen Notte V2 360mm AIO | Hyte Y60 Snow White| Corsair HX1000 PSU |

Yeah I have been looking for a few weeks and parts in my area are super expensive. Can't even get into an AM5 system for less than 1400$CAD. Could get a AM4 system for less but I don't know how good that would be for my non-gaming tasks

AM4 still has solid cpu’s like the 3900x or 5900x for gaming/workload or creative tasks of some sort (basically anything that isn’t gaming)

AM5 would be a nice upgrade and has a huge upgrade path so is there any way you can continue saving money and in the future build an AM5 pc?

I think its worth the wait, less hassle, better chipset, new pc, better performance, and long-lasting upgrade path.

Get a 14400f instead, it is much cheaper for a minuscule performance boost in your case. Get the ThermalRight latest Phantom variation, and buy and SSD for the cjange

I would like a system relatively soon and almost doubling my budget isn't feasible ATM but thanks for your input!

Gotcha. Well I would keep looking, you can almost 100% get a better deal than this PC for your $750

Buying a 14400f is actually exactly the same cost as a 12600kf where I am.

yeah, that's fine considering the RAMpocalypse. I think if you try to hunt around for a better deal you'll probably just miss out and have even worse options.

Presuming I'm reading the post correctly, this is an already-built system with a 12600KF in it so the parts are just what you get.

Changing my statement

I put the parts into a pcpartpicker list, (most of them, some I had to get a different brand)

The overall value in pcpartpicker was like $900

So go for it. It’s an alright deal

I went to the PCPartPicker, and it showed a 100$ difference, so it certainly may vary.
