Quick Share google login broken

Hey all I have a problem logging my Google account into Quick Share. Windows 11.

 

I have tried running QS as Admin, reinstalling QS, I've tried MS Edge as default browser, Chrome as default, Firefox as default. Firefox is my daily. None of the browsers worked, the error keeps happening. I have cleared cache from all browsers before trying QS log in, didn't help.

 

Anyone able to help? thanks. 

 

translation: This file does not have an associated application to perform the action. Install the application. If the application is already installed, create the interface on the Default Applications settings page.

Has it worked in the past?

In my experience: it's been a crapshoot as to whether it works correctly or not, usually with just not being discoverable to the other device on both sides.

this is actually my first time trying Quick Share because my PC stopped recognizing my phone, cant access phone files on PC.

Good luck with that. Like most Microslop products: PC quick share is a steaming pile of excrement.

 

The partnered Link to Windows that microslop and Samsung have is serviceable, dare I say satisfactory.

hey man, since the other options just dont work, i tried Link to Windows and voila, it works! i can share files between my phone and PC. thanks!
