Google Talk is coming to Outlook.com web site due to popular demand.
However, for now, it will support only text chat conversation, and Microsoft will look into adding audio support if its in demand.

Right now, Outlook.com has full Skype integration inside the web browser with video and audio chat.

The update is coming in this week.

Do people use Outlook.com? What do you think about this new update? And how about Skype?

I think it's pretty cool that it support it. Obviously Microsoft is a bit reluctant in supporting audio chat support with it, as Skype integration has just arrived to it.

But perhaps Microsoft can do a deal with Google, where they can get Gmail support with Google special private API, in exchange of full Google talk integration in Outlook.com, and possibly other places.
