A Seagate Barracuda 2TB or 3TB will be fine for use in a home PC.

Which ever brand and model you choose, here is my 2 cents worth...

Don't buy through e-tailer, the beating (shipping) these drives go through (thrown around

in bad packaging) will lead to shorter life spans and hidden damage.

A retail (local) purchase will come from a case of drives which will have been better protected.

Make sure your purchase is new (sealed) and not refurbished.
