Sign of dieing HDD?

SO lets start with my OS and then the problem I am having. I run windows 8.1 update 1. Sometimes one of my three HDD's just doesn't show in windows. It shows in BIOS and in my RAID controller window (It's no in raid just shows plugged in drives) and I have no idea why it doesn't show in windows, sometimes it does as it is now, but other times it just doesn't. I just want to know if it's a failing drive or windows just being a butt. 

 

 

HDD is a 5 year old Seagate barracuda 7200RPM.

 

I run another one of these and an SSD, both HDD's are from the same year and bough on the same day for that matter.
