Hello!

I have this laptop: MSI Titan 18HX 14900HX and 4090, 2TB NVMe and 32GB RAM.

Bought for a good price of £1995.

Is under warranty still and have this problem (see picture)

White / yellow streaks of light divide the monitor like a rib cage. According to a single Reddit post it's a malfunctioning mini LED panel.

I'm not 100% if MSI warranty is transferable, but do you guys think this is worth keeping and fixing?

Or should I return it and get a 5090 laptop for around £3100?

Thanks in advance

Warranty is for the product, over here i just have to present the original bill of purchase during RMA process and I am good even if I am the 99th owner. I would just RMA it.

Just thinking what makes sense. The 4090 is only 11% behind 5090

Don’t spend an extra thousand euros for that small of a performance jump. Just RMA it.
