Upgrade performance

Hi all- I currently am running a ryzen 5 7600, 32gb ram, and a 3060 12gb. I was looking into a 9060xt that with a trade in I could get for about 250. My actual budget is 400 usd, and I’m in the USA. Is that going to be enough to run some hero shooters at like 1440p high on like 144, upscaling is fine, idk if frame gen is a great idea though.

Your CPU and RAM is good enough to not cause any 'bottleneck' at 1440p with a 9060 XT.

Are you looking at the 8GB or 16GB version?

 

Here is an 18 game average at 1440p with details set to high/ultra without any upscaling.

Hero shooters with medium/high settings should run just fine for you

Yes, shooters will easily run on the 9060XT 16GB.   You could just watch YT as well for this.

If you buy a new cpu you still have a 3060... It's of no use nothing will change

 

Better save money for a new GPU ...

Uh that is the whole topic of the OP's post. He never mentioned anything about a CPU upgrade.

I have decided to spring the extra few hundred, and get me something that should run good settings for a good bit longer, 9070xt
