7700 XT utilization issues

I'm getting some issues with my 7700XT when playing games

 I'm sitting in Crab Champions lobby and my gpu in task manager is hitting 99%

 

 I was having some weird stutter issues in   CS2, league, and now crab champions where  as the camera moved faster I would stutter, it's weird as I'm not nearly at my temp cap, or vram usage.  No overclock either in Adrenaline.

Also I'm on  two  1080p monitors

 

Any ideas

What is it like when you are in match? It wouldn't be the first game to have shitty coding that lets menus run at uncapped framerates, thus driving gpu use sky high needlessly. But that is speculation.

it's in multiple games, but just used the lobby as an example.

I'm also getting this weird hitching in games when I move the mouse fast

Are you outputting max frames while VSync is disabled? that can appear as stutters if it goes over your monitors refresh rate

 

Have you tried fullscreen mode in game? ( just as an aside )

Instead of Task Manager, can you use Intel PresentMon while in game and have a look at its GPU Busy and CPU Busy metrics when these stutters appear?

 

Your GPU running at ~100% utilization is the expected behavior unless it's being limited by something (e.g. V-Sync, frame cap, CPU, power, game engine, …). Many games don't cap frame rates in menus, so GPUs often run at ridiculous frame rates there
