I’m looking to move my system into an ancient HP Slimline case from 2007. I upgraded the PSU once, but I’ll need a new one with more juice to get my R5 5600 / RTX 5060 low-profile system working. Also going to need a PCIe connector that isn’t on the old Silverstone. There are some FSP Flex ATX units, but they get pricey quick. I’m vaguely familiar with Athena Power, mostly for server PSUs and OEM replacements, but I’ve never used one.

Basically, is this likely to go bang?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
